Hello Residents,
Happy New Year! As temperatures drop across the Treasure Valley, we want to make sure you and your home stay safe this winter. A few small steps can help prevent frozen pipes and costly damage during freezing weather.
KEEP YOUR HOME SAFE THIS WINTER
- Maintain proper heat settings:
Please keep your heat set to at least 65°F at all times, even if you will be away from home. This helps prevent pipes from freezing. - Disconnect hoses from hose bibs:
Leaving hoses attached can cause pipes to freeze and burst — please ensure all hoses are removed for the season. - Close outdoor crawl space vents:
This keeps cold air out and helps protect your plumbing during severe winter temperatures. - Know how to reach us in an emergency:
If you experience a burst pipe, water leak, or other winter-related emergency, notify our office immediately through your tenant portal.
Thank you for helping keep your home safe during the winter months. We hope your new year is filled with warmth, comfort, and a great start to 2026!
Warmly,
The RMA Team
